BLACKWELL’S OXFORD Group 2012 Presents: Writing a Historical Novel- The Links Between Fact and Fiction

Group 2012 is delighted to be welcoming author Pat Barr to Blackwell’s for an insightful discussion on writing a historical novel focusing on the links between fact and fiction. Pat Barr has written an array of fiction and non-fiction titles including The Memsahibs and A Curious Life for a Lady.
Group 2012 is an exciting writing group in Oxford who meet monthly on the fourth Wednesday of the month at Blackwell’s and the Friends Meeting House. The group started in 2012 as a collaboration between Blackwell’s Bookshop, The Oxford Editors and Hersilia Press. Sessions include talks by authors, agents, publisher and booksellers; discussions on all aspects of writing and publishing; writing and marketing workshops and writing critique sessions.
